What is the inspiration for your design?
Bathroom design is always evolving. So base on my own experiences with different place different hotel differences toilet Design. I notice that one hotel that I have been stayed they design with Japanese vibe mostly they design with the wood to look more natural and it would make my feel like I am staying at my own home. Their design are really suite with the gold of the Stationary ware. It much more touch my feeling are different way. It is not too much classic and it is not much modern. It would make your feeling getting more warm and comfortable while you travel. There is my feeling that I still have even it is two years already. Lastly, I want my guest would has the same feeling as mine while they travel.
How does the design fulfill the need of the target users?
Considering the user who prefers to stay at 5 5-star hotels. This design is suitable with people who like to travel or spend more time enjoying the shower and bathtub. This design caters to all the user who needs more individual time or share it according to the user because the toilet and the basin are split up so they can be used at the same time. This design is more functional for groups of people who travel alone or family also can use.
How does the design fulfill the design challenge?
The design fulfills the design challenge by designing a space that provides a comfortable space, sustainable, functional, aesthetic, and good solution for design. This bathroom is much more convenient for users because of the double lavabo at the basin area and also providing the natural light from the window to make the space brighter. Using the folding and sliding door system saves space and also divides space between the wet area and dry area. Using the technical by dropping the level by about 20mm with drainage at the shower area to avoid water coming out to the dry area. Using the material that is suitable for toilet design and also choosing the matching stationary ware from American standard to make this bathroom much more interesting and also gives the user more relaxing, luxurious feeling especially, gives the user the best memorial when they back home.
How does the choice of products contribute to the purpose of the design?
The Products chosen for this project ensured the appropriateness and really suit for Home a way from Home, it not only use for toilet but it more suitable for relaxing area for use that stay far away from their home. In this design I want to my design are recognized by the users that I should give them the good memories, the enjoyable, comfortable. In my vision I want all the guest who stay at the hotel that use products from American Standards get know clearly about this products and when they went back to their home they will start to thinking of using this comfortable products.
